My New Song

Grandpa loves to hear me sing this song. I really feel it when I hit the high "moon" note. (PS...make sure you look at older blogs. Mommy did so many, there was not enough room on one page!)

Mullet Close Ups and the Naked Cowgirl

I thought it was funny getting close to the camera.
CHEEEEEESSSSEEE!
Oh my goodness...Mommy took my picture! Can you believe it???? This is so exciting!
Who needs NYC's Naked Cowboy, when there is BC's Naked Cowgirl???
I think my new underwear look like Grandpa's whitey tighties! They expect me to get excited about these things??? Daddy says my underwear are always going to look like this!

The Big Slide...

Saturday morning, we took a walk to the Farmer's Market and got some peaches and veggies. We stopped at the park afterwards. Daddy thought he needed to follow me up the stairs. I quickly made it clear that he did NOT need to assist me and I could do this all on my own!
Big slide--CONQUERED!!!
I was having so much fun, Daddy had to try it!

Saturday Morning Stop at the Park

This isn't a gourd, I promise. I think it's supposed to be a pelican. I think it's been at the park since my mommy was little.
I can get on and off of them all by myself.
This slide was cool...but there were much bigger and better slides at this park.
I am pretty gutsy on the big swings.

What's a Fair Without Cotton Candy

This was my first experience with cotton candy--WOW!!!! Gotta get more of that! Maybe Santa will bring me a machine! I don't think Mommy and Daddy will let that happen...

I love cows. This one is going to have a baby.

What????? Daddy and Jason couldn't pass up the empty stall to get in touch with their farming roots.

Awesome Rides

I met my cool cousin at the Puyallup Fair.
We raced cars and got dizzy.
It was waaaayyyyy cool!
I LOVED the alligators, too. I didn't want to get off of this one. My partner was a great driver. I got to sit back and enjoy the ride...around and around and around.
Mommy and Daddy learned an important lesson on this one. We were the first people in line to give the man our ticket. This is a really big merry-go-round and it takes A LONG TIME to fill up. So...next time, we are going to wait until right before the ride starts...that way I won't let my patience (or lack of) ruin the fun. I rallied once the ride FINALLY start!

More Fair

This is my fake smile next to an award-winning pumpkin. Wouldn't you have a fake smile if this was you??? I wasn't that interested--really.
This is my cool cousin, Jameson. He has power in his head and wrist bands. Here, we are giving each other "some skin."
Here's a high five...
And...Jameson's baby sister just got to go home, so he had to leave to go and see her. I want some of his power...
For tradition, we had our picture taken with my Uncle Dave and Jameson's papa.

More Fair

No one but Mommy and Lorna would go on the big rides. Jason and Daddy stayed on ground. I guess it was a wild ride.
This is before the Kamakazi. They were scared.
Daddy won me a baby toy. He said is was a really expensive little toy. I think it's because he had to play so many games.
I had to have a power nap--the fair is exhausting!
Daddy never conquered this game--although he was throwing like the Yankees threw against Seattle the night we watched them.

Fun in Washington and at the Puyallup Fair

We got to go to Seattle and watch the Yankees play. We stayed with my cousins, Jason and Lorna. I saw my first ice cream from an ice cream truck. Actually it was a motorcycle.
I don't think anyone was more excited than Jason. He's funny. He stayed with me while Mommy and Daddy went to Target and I exposed him to Veggie Tales--he's hooked!
This is Kula, Jason and Lorna's dog. She is really cool and has great clothes!

More Family Reunion

Here, Max and Kori pose with me on one of our numerous stroller trips to and from the "mess hall," work sites, and campground.
Sometimes we got lucky and could ride the 4-wheeler. Daddy thinks he needs one. Jesse is riding in front here. I love my Jesse.
This is my cousin Lance. He even lets us still call him Lancer Pancer. He lives in Ukraine now, but got to come home this summer. His mom is Aunt Lynnie. (The one we lost on the river--discussed below.)
This is my loopy family. (And my mom thinks that some of her students' families are weird??? HELLOOOO--these guys are off their rockers!) This is only a small part of the big family, but there will be more next summer when we return to finish Great Grandma Mark's memorial.

More Camping

We had a family reunion in Cascade, Idaho. It was a working reunion to prepare some benches for my Great Grandma Mark's benches. It was a blast. Here is Lala on a rafting trip. I didn't get to go, but Mommy and Daddy did. They went down the Payette River.
This is Aunt Lynnie and LaLa. We lost Aunt Lynnie on one of the rapids. It was scary!!!
For working at the Nazarene Camp, we got to stay for free and they even fed us. Here, Max is getting ready for school and the "cafeteria method" of eating.
Some of the people helped build an ampitheatre there, too. Here Uncle Dave and Grandpa look like they are important and barking orders around. Rumor has it that they really did work. :)
There was so much chaos, I never really knew what was going on. I was pretty good, though, and had a blast.

Lots of Summer Fun

We went camping with the Smiths this summer at Grande Ronde Lake up by Anthony Lakes. We had fun. Our friends, the Flanagans and Janie came up later. It was a blast and we didn't even get tortured by mosquitoes!
Mommy tried teaching the boys how to skip rocks at the lake. Daddy and the other men went fishing. They stock the lake, so it's pretty fun. The fish were jumping like crazy!
This is my friend Bryson. He is in Mommy's class this year. He's a great student to have!
This is Bryson's brother, Spencer. He makes me laugh!
